Labba ArtMy name is Laila Labba. I received my bachelor in Illustration from The University of Huddersfield, 2020. Prior to that I studied for two years in my local art school Kunstskolen i Karasjok.
I love art! I draw traditionally and digitally, I paint with oils, acrylics and watercolours and I do print as well.
The red thread across my work is that I draw inspiration from Sami culture.
Central to traditional Sámi essence is that it's human’s job to protect and nurture nature, to not collect more resources than necessary and to always leave/give something back. I wish to inspire this way of thought.
